Meet the Teachers

KEYA NKONOKI (E-RYT 500, RPYT, RCYT) is a joyful and encouraging Pregnancy & Postpartum Yoga Specialist, Birth & Postpartum Doula, and Certified Lactation Educator with a passion for nurturing women through their entire birth process! She teaches a nourishing, alignment based mix of yoga styles from her eclectic background. Keya’s signature prenatal sequences are specifically tailored for strength, balance, and renewal in a rapidly changing body. She has been working with pregnant families for the past 14 years, and lives in Culver City with her husband and two children, whom she credits the wake up call to live with more yogic awareness. Her biggest joy is carving out time to work with pregnant teens in underserved populations around Los Angeles.  

 

Join Keya on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for Prenatal At Om, Postnatal At Om, Babies At Om, and Women At Om classes.

 

 

 

CONSTANCE HARTWELL (pictured with Keya) is a Level 1 teacher at Moms At Om. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Constance is a Yoga and Meditation Teacher specialized in Vinyasa Flow, Pregnancy Yoga and Restorative Yoga. Yoga has given Constance valuable tools to help manage years of depression. Her aim is to share her practice in hopes of helping others find their own special magic. She loves cooking vegan food, spending time at the beach, and reading philosophical fiction.

 

 

 

 

 

CHIGUSA SAGA (pictured with Keya) is originally from Japan. She has been practicing yoga since 2000. Her focus is on the therapeutic application of the yoga practice and the exploration of poses and Breathwork to heal ourselves. She is dedicated to sharing the benefit and wonders of yoga and helping students to improve their practice.

LAUREN DALKE MATTHEWS (in the white shirt) is STOTT Pilates & Yoga Alliance Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga certified, a Hypnobabies doula, and has a deep understand of anatomy, physiology, and movement theory. She is a firm believer in the importance of mind-body connection and the holistic benefits of this work. Lauren infuses her teaching with enthusiasm, humor, and a personal connection that communications her faith in the importance and joy of healthy movement. She believes Pilates and Yoga are transformative and empowering, lending clients a deep sense of agency in their own physical and personal experience, whatever that may mean for them.
